Executive Director, PATH Ventures
Shane is the Executive Director of PATH Ventures, an affordable housing development organization created by PATH Partners. PATH Ventures recognized that, while it is necessary to provide direct services to help people who are homeless overcome the road blocks to permanent housing, it is not enough. We have to build the housing ourselves. Shane is here to do just that.
Shane was born and raised in Santa Monica. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Religion from Kenyon College in Ohio and later obtained her master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. Shane has pursued her passion for economic justice at the local and national levels as a direct service provider, community organizer, and most recently as the Senior Legislative Deputy to City Council President Eric Garcetti.
In her free time, Shane serves on the boards of directors of the Liberty Hill Foundation’s Lesbian and Gay Community Fund and the Wildwoods Foundation. She is living happily ever after with her partner in West LA.
