Janet Denise Ganaway-Kelly offers more than a decade of accomplishments in housing and the nonprofit sector. A key strategic and tactical nonprofit business professional, Janet has been instrumental in the exponential growth of PATH Partners and PATH that has added one start-up and three new nonprofits through a nonprofit merger. Janet brings valuable insight and knowledge regarding the leadership and management challenges faced by large and small nonprofits that are struggling or growing organizations.

Beginning her career in fair housing, Janet developed a strong interest in housing issues and parlayed this interest into addressing homelessness, implementing community and economic development initiatives and building affordable housing opportunities for the homeless and low-income people. Demonstrating drive and initiative, Janet pioneered programmatic innovations by applying business strategy principles and applications to improve organizational efficiency and prepare for growth opportunities. She has distinguished herself as a new school nonprofit leader.

Leveraging an impressive portfolio of experience in nonprofit management, operations, mergers, and strategic planning, Janet has proven to be adaptive and responsive to the changes in social policy. Her leadership has delivered strong and sustained results in the areas of nonprofit start-ups, growth, and turnaround situations.

Recently, Janet has been charged with managing PATH Partners, a family of agencies providing hope to people in need. She oversees four subsidiary nonprofits, develops and manages operating and capital budgets, and collaborates with management teams to develop and implements plans for organizational systems and processes that deliver strong performance outcomes.

Prior to PATH Partners, Janet was the Senior Housing Discrimination Coordinator at the former Westside Fair Housing Council. She helped settle and resolve hundreds of fair housing complaints in rental, sales, and insurance.

Throughout her career, Janet has fostered good relations with the community. She serves on youth service boards, is a member of local, state, and national housing organizations and participates in economic revitalization activities.

Janet earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of California Los Angeles and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
